COVID-19 Response

While our Office has been dedicated to the COVID-19 response—the challenge of today—we have not and will not stop addressing climate change—the challenge of our lifetimes.

Our staff shifted to COVID-19 response efforts following the March 22 Stay at Home/Work From Home order. We helped set up the City’s call center and email response team, expand testing capacity, and as we begin to re-open we’ve again shifted focus — to economic recovery.

We’re supporting the City’s efforts to build a more self-sufficient, diversified economy that will put our residents back to work today but will also help us weather the next disaster tomorrow — whether it’s a hurricane, a heat wave, or another pandemic.
